Hello! I’m Ralf, Hello! I’m Ralf, the station master of Esperanto-Stacio. What’s Esperanto-Stacio? It is a new meeting place of the Esperanto movement. It is situated in the german village Halbe close to Berlin, in a nature reserve. From the name you might have guessed that it actually is a train station. Esperanto-Stacio is a meeting place with educational purposes, So it’s programme is about Esperanto, peace and understanding and about Human and language rights. This programme we make for everybody, whether you speak Esperanto or not because we believe that we Esperanto speakers are a unique network with experiences and capabilities that we can make available to others too. And Esperanto-Stacio is a place for this. For 2020 we already have some events. We will arrange the “Spring of languages”, which is a week full of diverse language courses. We will arrange Fieru! The LGBTI pride event of the Esperanto movement. We will have the “Navigators of Chaos”, a leadership education helping to guide Esperanto and the Esperanto movement to a bright future in a chaotic world. And we will have the Dialogue on peace and security in which we debate about peace work. The Esperanto-Stacio will of course also arrange workshops about Esperanto. The Esperanto-Stacio will of course also arrange workshops about Esperanto. You can come here on very famous hiking or biking trails through the nature reserve. Also Berlin SXF and BER airports are very close. But of course, since it is a train station, there are direct trains. The trip to Berlin is about 30 minutes. Follow Esperanto-Stacio on Facebook to get all the updates about the 2020 programme. And if you have ideas for events or courses in the station, please let us know. Together we can use and offer our strengths and experiences, our knowledge, capacities and creativity!
